Does Not Posess Survival Skills

We made it to the cabin. But not before 4:00 a.m. We slightly underestimated our drive time. And when I say "we" I mean Larry.
We preplanned to get up early today and get out to the grocery store and stock up and hunker down until Monday morning. Except, we didn't get to bed until 5:00 (see wound up kids who'd slept in the car) and subsequently didn't get up this morning, err afternoon until 11:00. Hungry as hell. With very little food. And when I say very little? I mean some vegetable chips, prunes and 6 single serving oatmeal packets. All of which we've eaten.
If I was ever in any denial about my food issues, I'm not now. I'm in a slow, simmering panic. It takes 20 minutes just to get off the mountain and then at least another half hour to find the little grocery store. Larry's already been gone over an hour. I NEED COFFEE. And coffee CAKE and eggs and maybe even pancakes. And s'mores because what a waste of a fire if you don't make s'mores, right? I'm trying to take my mind off the unusual and cruel harsh conditions I'm forced to endure by doing some online shopping, blogging (obviously) and watching Dish TV with the boys. Did you know that with dish network you can watch 4 Disney channels?
