My Aunt Flo? She's missing. Been missing for over a week now. I really don't like that term. Aunt Flo. Who made that up? It couldn't have been a woman. In fact, if my period actually had a gender, it would most certainly be male. More like, Uncle Flo-yd. Uncle Floyd is much better. No woman would ever inflict such pain and misery on another woman. Biblically speaking I suppose it was a man, namely God who thought up this brilliant idea to make a woman bleed from her lady parts for 3-7 days EVERY STINKING MONTH for about 40 or so years. What was God thinking? Was it something that Eve did? Is SHE really to blame? I'm sure God didn't consult Mary, his closest female associate in the trinity about this great idea. She didn't even have to have sex to conceive so what would she know anyway. I find the whole thing a huge drag and I'd be just as happy if God decided that it was time for me to be going through menopause anyway. I'd be just fine with that being reason my Uncle Floyd is missing.
This post is bordering on blasphemous so maybe I should move on.
My Uncle Floyd is missing, probably gone on a bender after not winning the lottery last Sunday, took all the money in the mayonnaise jar, headed out to Tijuana where the tequila is cheap and the women are a plenty. Wimmins not on their Uncle Floyds.
But!!! I am NOT pregnant. One pink line showed up on my $13.99 pregnancy test. I was weak kneed when it was negative. Praise God (and God? I'm sorry for the lament above about how you cursed all the women folk with this period idea).
Here are some pictures from Easter. I did NOT wear "the dress". It just looked frumpy on me. And, everyone else was dressed casual so I joined them.
Some of the pictures may seem to not have a thing to do with Easter but they were taken around Easter so they're getting lumped in to this photo montage.

This is called a heel flip fakey 180* ollie (or something)

EASTER SUNDAY

Completely fake brotherly love. 3 hours later? They were throwing skateboards at each other
Easter Dinner
Larry's Dad, Larry's little sister, Larry and Braden. See how Braden is clutching his candy for dear life? He knows us too well.
Large boy and I. (hmm, NOT pregnant but somehow I managed to look pregnant in this picture) I'm glad Logan managed to find his least Easter-y shirt.
This is how Ian ended the day: With the game, Rock Band which the Easter Bunny brought for the boys (I think the Easter Bunny was having an identity crisis this year and he thought he was Santa)
For Ian and I, this Easter it was all about the shoes. It's hard to see in the pic but those shoes have green SEQUINS!!! on them.
This is how Braden ended his Easter:

Some cute baseball photos from opening day:

And, finally, being the heathens that we are, instead of going to church on good Friday, this is what we did:

Congrats for not being preggo. I love all the pix but I was so hoping for pix of you in a dress. When did Logan move back in with you guys. What happen to his bachelor pad? Miss you guys... You look awesome btw. :) Hug and Kisses
Yay for not being pregnant! And just ENJOY not having Uncle Floyd around, you freak. Don't COMPLAIN about it. I'm sure its just because you are losing so much weight. ENJOY.
And the pictures are gorgeous. Is that your freakin' game room? With the arcade games? And the pool table? And the bad ass TV? Will you adopt me?
Love your family pics!!!!
And umm congrats? right?
hey could a been a great April fools one!!!
Fabulous photos! And that game room of yours is freaking awesome.
You know, I never liked the term "Aunt Flo" either. In high school, my friends and I gave it a new nickname after my friend Tricia was having her monthly visitor and a bee flew up her skirt. We started calling it "The Bee," and would say, "The Bee flew in" when our periods started. Silly? Yes. But better than "Aunt Flo" or some of those other hideous terms for your period.
