I'm posting just because I feel obligated to. I have nothing of interest going on, nothing you'd think was interesting, trust me.
I'll just post about my medium boy. He's pretty exciting actually. As per usual, we had baseball over the weekend. A tournament. Two full days full of baseball. All baseball, all the time. He's in a bit of a slump right now at the plate but he made some spectacular catches in the outfield. Oddly, he loves playing left field. I always thought hot shot baseball players wanted to be infield, you know where the action is but some kids really like those long high balls. So left field is his comfort zone. *I* prefer him at third base but my opinion about where he should play matters about as much to Larry and Ian as my opinion about her fashion choices matter to Hillary Clinton.
I'm currently feeling under the gun to finish my guest post post over at Leslie's blog.
I'm so honored that she accepted my offer to guest post at This Is Motherhood. I'm completely preoccupied with putting together something semi sort of interesting about Motherhood. Once I get started I know something will spring forth but that blank white sheet is pretty intimidating. If you've never had a chance to check out Leslie's blog, please do so. She has some exciting and funny stuff going on.
This morning I had an opportunity to tour the new addition to Braden's school. The addition which will make it possible for Braden to continue to be a student there through third grade. I keep hoping another addition will go up soon for 4th 5th and 6th grade. It wouldn't bother me to keep writing that monthly check through at least 8th grade. You can't put a price on a good, no make that GREAT education and I am reminded daily of what a stellar education Braden is getting. For instance, on Saturday he wanted me to know that tootsie pops have candy in the middle. You know Mom, that cylinder shaped candy. I think that would be tootsie rolls? Cylinder shaped. Amazing.

What are you doing for Easter? We're going to dinner with my parent's and Larry's Dad and sister. I actually bought a dress. I haven't worn a dress in 10 years. Even on my wedding day I wore capris. Losing thirty pounds does crazy things to people. We won't have Ian with us for Easter. He has to go to his Dad's house since for some knucklehead reason his Dad decided spring break would be a good time to schedule knee surgery which will oddly be SO invasive that he won't be able to see his son the entire break so Easter will be the last time he can see him until summer. Believe me when I type that I am exercising extreme self control not to voice my feelings about this situation. I promised Ian, upon his request, not to post anything negative about his Dad because his Dad and his Dad's wife reads my blog and they feel the need to tell Ian that everything I write about them is a lie. Even though the truth is evident in the state of our lives. No matter, I'll stick to the facts as promised. (but come on? who schedules knee surgery during spring break when you know you're supposed to spend it with your adoring son?) Rant over.

THIRTY POUNDS? That is so awesome! Congrats on the dress...you'll have to take pictures!
I want to see a picture of you in this dress. you can send it to my email if you don't want to post it on here, but hell, if I lose 30 pounds I am taking a picture of myself naked and posting it for the world to see. So you in a dress shouldn't be so bad for you to share with your adoring fans. Hope you are feeling good. Give the boys hugs and kisses from us. BTW, can you believe my little mischeivious one will be 2 on Sat?! Time flies when your having fun? :)
You rock girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OOHH I will excersise me typing....Daddy don't take son away from Mommie on Easter!!
Pam, you rock, girl! 30 lbs is amazing, and I know it's just the beginning. I too, would love to see a picture of you in your new dress. :)
Ok, please tell me you're kidding that your ex-husband and his wife stalk your blog? Really...are you fucking kidding me? Ok, you may have promised not to say anything negative (for which I highly commend you, by the way), but I made no such promise. What a couple of sad, pathetic fucking losers. I mean really, if they have nothing better to do...although I'm sure they're probably jealous of your life and lifestyle, and who wouldn't be? But still. L.O.S.E.R.S. Ok, I'm done being nasty now. ;)
Shelley,
I'm kind of flattered that they read it. But why? I can only say that my life, goals and values are SO far removed from Ian's Dad's that I can't even begin to imagine why they read it other than possibly they try and live vicariously through it, like you said. After all, I walked away from the divorce with the grand prizes, Ian and Logan. I can't imagine how it feels to interact with them on such a limited basis. Life would be pretty empty and pointless without them and their love on a daily basis.
I couldn't have said it better though, I especially like your creative use of caps and periods :)
Congratulations on the 30 pounds! Woohoo! Enjoy that dress, you sexy thing!
Dave's ex reads my blog. It sucks. I mean, why?!!!? Oh well, at least they're the pathetic ones and we have lives!
